Cadence Receives TSMC Customers' Choice Award
Award Honors Cadence Paper on DRAM Interface IP and Technology
SAN JOSE, CA, Jan 24, 2013 (Menafn - MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --Cadence Design Systems, Inc. CDNS, a leader in globalelectronic design innovation, received the "Customers' Choice Award"for its paper on DRAM Interface IP and technology at TSMC's recentOpen Innovation Platform(TM) Ecosystem Forum. The paper focused oncurrent and emerging trends in DRAM memories, and the technologiesrequired to enable them. The award marks the second straight yearattendees at the TSMC event selected Cadence for the honor.
In its paper, Cadence demonstrated advanced capabilities in the areasof 3D-IC, hybrid memory cube (HMC), wide I/O and other important DRAMdevelopments. The company highlighted its early development of testchips with TSMC for advanced process nodes and its early IP releasesfor the newest industry standards.
