BRIEF: Nonprofit receives grant to help home buyers
STOCKTON, Dec 08, 2012 (Menafn - The Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Wells Fargo & Company has given a 200,000 grant to Stockton-based Visionary Home Builders of California.
The local nonprofit organization will use the funding for its Blueprint to Foreclosure Recovery Program, which is designed to support home buyers within San Joaquin County neighborhoods.
The program provides education, counseling and home-buying assistance to low- and moderate-income resi-dents.
Carol Ornelas, CEO of Visionary Homebuilders, said the funding will be used to help those whose lives "have been effected by the local housing crisis."
