Teck Appoints New Vice President, Human Resources
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Nov 28, 2012 (Menafn - MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --Teck Resources Limited TCK ("Teck")is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Winsor to VicePresident, Human Resources.
In this role, Mr. Winsor will report to the President and CEO and beresponsible for Teck's Global Human Resources function. Specificfocus will include the development of a people strategy that buildshuman resource and organizational capacity while effectively andefficiently engaging employees in business priorities.
Mr. Winsor, who has more than 24 years of experience in the miningindustry, joined Teck in 1999 and most recently held the position ofGeneral Manager, Human Resources before being appointed Acting VicePresident, Human Resources in August 2012. He holds an MBA from SimonFraser University and a Supply Chain Management ProfessionalDesignation from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
