Frontier Airlines to offer nonstop service between Denver and Greensboro
GREENSBORO, Feb 11, 2013 (Menafn - Winston-Salem Journal - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Frontier Airlines said Monday that it will offer nonstop service between Denver International Airport and Piedmont Triad International Airport starting May 1.
The airline will offer three weekly flights with fares as low as 99 one way. The special fares will be available for purchase through Feb. 16 at FlyFrontier.com. The fares are for travel May 1 through July 10.
Travelers can also earn double EarlyReturns miles through Frontier's frequent flyer rewards program for every trip they take between Denver and Greensboro from May 1 through May 31.
"We are excited to offer travelers in the Triad region the only nonstop service from Greensboro to Denver," said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president, commercial for Frontier. "Now customers can travel to Denver and easily connect to 16 other destinations, and they'll find the best deals and most perks when they book their travel at FlyFrontier.com."
Kevin Baker said that PTI officials couldn't be happier about Frontier Airlines' plans.
"Frontier's new Denver service gives Piedmont Triad travelers a new low-cost gateway to the West Coast," said Kevin Baker, the executive director for the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority. "It's the best of all worlds -- low fares on large comfortable planes from PTI to Denver and from Denver to points all over the West Coast."
