Continental Precious Minerals Inc. 2012 Annual Meeting
TORONTO, ONTARIO, Nov 26, 2012 (Menafn - Marketwire via COMTEX) --Continental Precious Minerals Inc. (the "Company" or "Continental") announced that the notice of meeting, management information circular and proxy for the Company's 2012 annual meeting will be mailed to shareholders on November 29, 2012. Because of the changes in agenda items, the Company is calling a new meeting of shareholders to be held on December 20, 2012 rather than adjourning the previously called meeting. The changes in agenda items are the result of the withdrawal of a previously submitted shareholder proposal, the addition of a new item of business (ratification of the advance notice by-law that was the subject of the Company's news release of November 14, 2012) and a change to the directors nominated by management (resulting from the appointment of Mani Verma to the board on November 22, 2012). The record date remains the same (October 23, 2012). Shareholders are advised that any proxies submitted prior to the date hereof in relation to the previously called meeting will be disregarded and are urged to submit new proxies upon receipt of the Company's meeting materials.
