Convergys appoints Andrea Ayers as president and CEO and Jeff Fox as executive chairman

Oct 24, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Customer management solutions provider Convergys Corporation CVG reported on Tuesday that Andrea Ayers has been appointed as president and CEO of the company as of 1 November 2012 and will join the board of directors with immediate effect.

Having joined Convergys in 1990, Ayers has served in many leadership roles and most recently was president and chief operating officer.

The company's board of directors has also appointed Jeffrey Fox as executive chairman of the board as of 1 November, while Phil Odeen remains on the board as lead independent director.

According to Convergys these management changes align its leadership team with its singular focus on the Customer Management business following the sale of its Information Management business.
