Two restaurants in Four Seasons retain Michelin three stars Ritz-Carlton Tin Lung Heen jumps to two-star category
Dec 07, 2012 (Menafn - M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) --Caprice and Lung King Heen in the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong have kept their three-star ratings in the 2013 Michelin Guide to Hong Kong and Macau; accounting for half of the three-star establishments in Hong Kong. Tin Lung Heen, the Chinese restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong at International Commerce Centre, was elevated to two-star status. Dong Lai Shun at The Royal Garden is a new entrant to the stars category. The restaurants are part of Sun Hung Kai Properties' (SHKP) hospitality portfolio that offers premium service and fine dining to discerning local and international diners.
Top honours for Lung King Heen and Caprice
The Four Seasons Hotel's Lung King Heen and Caprice are examples of SHKP's endeavours to introduce international delicacies to its hospitality portfolio. Both restaurants retained their top Michelin accolades thanks to their choice of best ingredients, exquisite presentation, impeccable service and stunning harbour views, and Lung King Heen was the world's first Chinese restaurant to achieve Michelin three-star status.
Tin Lung Heen adds to its tally
Tin Lung Heen earned one Michelin star shortly after its opening at the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and has jumped to the two-star category this year. The Chinese restaurant has been acclaimed for serving fine Cantonese cuisine and dim sum.
Dong Lai Shun gains star status
Originated in Beijing, Dong Lai Shun is famous for its authentic 'Shuan Yang Rou' -- paper-thin slices of Inner Mongolian black-headed mutton. Huaiyang cuisine is also provided to widen customers' choice.
