Comtech Telecommunications posts USD7.4m net income in Q1 fiscal 2013

Dec 07, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Provider of advanced communication solutions Comtech Telecommunications Corp CMTL on Thursday reported GAAP net income of USD7.4m, or USD0.36 per diluted share, for the first quarter of fiscal 2013, ended 31 October 2012.

This was a decline over GAAP net income of USD12.6m, or USD0.47 per diluted share, in the first quarter of fiscal 2012.

Net sales for the quarter were USD91.0m, as compared with USD113.4m in the first quarter of fiscal 2012.

Also, the company provided updated fiscal 2013 guidance and now expects revenues to range from USD350m to USDD365m, with GAAP diluted EPS expected to be between USD1.26 and USD1.34.
