It takes two to fill Meakin's shoes at Seven

Nov 27, 2012 (Menafn - The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) --Seven Network news and current affairs director Peter Meakin has stepped down. The role will be split, with Rob Raschke as Seven director of news while Neil Mooney will oversee the network's current affairs shows. Meakin will continue in "a senior advisory role". He is credited with driving the Nine Network's dominance in news and current affairs before defecting to Seven in 2003, which then beat Nine in the news ratings within two years.
