BRIEF: ASGARD Toy Run fills truck with toys

BILOXI, Nov 25, 2012 (Menafn - The Sun Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Hundreds of motorcyclists brought Christmas to South Mississippi kids Sunday during the 28th annual ASGARD Toy Run.

Starting in Gulfport, Gautier and the Kiln, they gathered at the Home Depot on Cedar Lake Road and stuffed a tractor trailer with dolls, footballs, remote control cars and other toys.

A caravan of more than 300 motorcycles followed the truck to the Knights of Columbus in downtown Biloxi, where the toys were donated to local charities.

The toys will be distributed by the Knights of Columbus, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities and other groups to provide Coast children with a merry Christmas.
