Newman wants tower up and running

Oct 10, 2012 (Menafn - The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) --The Queensland Government has caused controversy with its focus on first building an office tower in its A1 billion waterfront development in Brisbane. Developers would have preferred to compete for the whole project. However, the Government wants the office tower to be a separate stage, to be commenced by the end of 2012. In parliament on 11 October, there were also questions about the appointment of Jones Lang LaSalle to handle expressions of interest.
