Biostar Pharmaceuticals' call centre commences operations
Dec 24, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Biostar Pharmaceuticals Inc (nasdaqgm:BSPM), a manufacturer and marketer of pharmaceutical and health supplement products in China, announced on Friday that its call centre commenced operation on 10 December 2012.
According to the company, the call centre will target approximately USD5.0m in revenues in 2013.
Earlier in 2012, the company had established a call centre in Xianyang as its new business-to-customer (B2C) sales platform.
Biostar has staffed the call centre with 14 professionally trained sales employees (eight operators and six sales agents) who are primarily responsible for incoming inquiries and orders. Also, the staff are responsible for informing customers about drug promotions, introducing customers to new drugs, gathering customer feedback, and, if so requested, connecting them with doctors for further consultation. In addition, the call centre sales personnel will be responsible for outreach activities, including contacting medical product distribution agencies throughout China about product promotions, signing new distribution agreements and negotiating renewals.
Biostar's B2C call centre is currently promoting sales of Biostar products that treat joint pain, kidney ailments, rhinitis and digestion problems.
