BRIEF: Photo gallery: Top 25 college football action

Nov 17, 2012 (Menafn - The Sacramento Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Topping early Saturday Top 25 football action, AJ McCarron, Eddie Lacy and Alabama settled one in the opening minutes instead of waiting for a tense finale. Lacy rushed for three first-half touchdowns and McCarron set the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide's single-season record for passing TDs in a decidedly drama-free 49-0 victory over Western Carolina on Saturday.

For the past two seasons Oregon has dashed great expectations for Stanford. It would seem the No. 14 Cardinal would like nothing better than to derail the top-ranked Ducks in their bid for another shot at the national title. That game begins at 5 p.m.
