IDEX announces acquisition of ERC from MH Capital Partners II LP

May 01, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Applied solutions company IDEX Corporation IEX acquired ERC from MH Capital Partners II LP, it disclosed on Monday.

Additionally, the company said that ERC in Kawaguchi, Japan, is the manufacture of gas liquid separations and detection solutions for the life science, analytical instrumentation and clinical chemistry markets and it will operate within IDEX's Health and Science Technologies segment.

Further, ERC's products that include in-line membrane vacuum degassing solutions, refractive index detectors and ozone generation systems and its annual revenues are about JPY2.14bn. Also, with cash consideration of about JPY1.65bn, ERC will be accretive to IDEX's earnings within the first full year after acquisition.
