Calumet Specialty Products Partners LP plans public offering of 6m common units

May 08, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Specialist hydrocarbon company Calumet Specialty Products Partners LP (nasdaqgs:CLMT) reported on Monday the start of an underwritten public offering of 6,000,000 common units.

In addition, the company plans to grant the underwriters the option to purchase up to 900,000 additional common units.

Net proceeds from this common units offering are expected to be used by the company to repay borrowings outstanding under its revolving credit facility, for general partnership purposes, for working capital, capital expenditures and acquisitions.

Barclays Capital Inc, BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs & Co and JP Morgan Securities LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
