Changan Automobile Beijing Base Comes into Full Operation

SHANGHAI, Dec 04, 2012 (Menafn - SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --Chongqing Changan Automobile Company Limited December 1 held a ceremony for the Raeton rolling off production line in Beijing. This not only marks full operation of Changan Beijing base but indicates the company enters upper medium car market as well.

The RAETON is a strategic model Changan Automobile launches in upper medium sedan market. The car is made in the Beijing base and monthly output is designed at 800 units. The output will further increase after debut in the first quarter next year.

The upper medium car production base came under construction in Fangshan district, Beijing on September 30, 2010. Covering 5,000 mu (1 mu = 667 square meters), the Beijing base is designed to produce 500,000 cars and 500,000 engines and record CNY 50 billion output value each year after completion.
