Transat increases the number of direct flights to Rouyn-Noranda
MONTREAL, May 4, 2012, 2012 (Menafn - Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --Transat Holidays and Nolitours' destinations in Mexico and the Dominican Republic will be even more easily accessible from Rouyn-Noranda and Northeastern Ontario
Transat, the leader in vacation travel in Canada, is pleased to announce that, for a second year in a row, it will be offering a weekly flight from Rouyn Noranda to Cancun and the Riviera Maya from December 18, 2012 to April 30, 2013. Transat will also offer a new weekly flight from Rouyn Noranda to Puerto Plata from December 19, 2012 to April 24, 2013. The two flights will be operated by CanJet, Transat's partner airline, aboard new generation Boeing 737-800s.
"The demand in the Abitibi-Tmiscamingue area was way above our expectations, and as a result we are adding a second flight for the coming season," said Annick Gurard, Vice-President, South Market, Transat Tours Canada, who had travelled to Rouyn Noranda to make the announcement.
With the addition of these two new sun destinations, vacationers from the greater Rouyn-Noranda area and Northeastern Ontario will be able to choose from an impressive range of resorts sold under the Transat Holidays and Nolitours' brands that meet the needs of an extremely varied clientele.
