Challenges in store as resource giants hold tight for leadership merry-go-round

Nov 25, 2012 (Menafn - The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) --A number of changes of leadership are expected among large mining companies in 2013. Anglo American has already announced that Cynthia Carroll will step down. The takeover of Xstrata by Glencore will lead to the departure of Mick Davis. BHP Billiton is seeking an eventual replacement for Marius Kloppers. If appointments come from other companies, they will trigger further changes. New leaders will face a range of challenges, such as growing resources nationalism and a new Australian government.
