Boeing continues global Dream Tour with Washington as latest destination
May 08, 2012 (Menafn - AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) --Aircraft manufacturer Boeing BA announces on Monday that its global Dream Tour of the new 787 Dreamliner continues, with the new aircraft landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC on Monday.
The company said Washington is the latest destination on its global Dream Tour and has especially invited guests who will be able to view the innovative cabin features that have been fitted out in Boeing's 787 Dreamliner, including a new welcoming entryway, much bigger dimmable widows, larger bins and dynamic LED lighting.
In addition, the company states that its 787 Dreamliner is configured with a luxurious business-class cabin, an overhead crew rest compartment and an economy class section.
Boeing is headquartered in Chicago and employs over 170,000 people across the US, as well as in 70 other countries. As well as commercial jetliners, Boeing also manufactures military aircraft combined. Additionally, Boeing designs and manufactures rotorcraft, electronic and defence systems, missiles, satellites, launch vehicles and advanced information and communication systems. The company is a service provider to NASA and is a contractor for the International Space Station.
