BRIEF: Yuba City bank posts another profitable quarter
Oct 11, 2012 (Menafn - The Sacramento Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Yuba City-based River Valley Community Bank posted its 21st consecutive profitable quarter in the third quarter ended Sept. 30.
The bank had quarterly net income of 358,079, or 21 cents a share, up from 340,693, or 20 cents a share, in the year-ago period.
Total assets as of Sept. 30 were 144.2 million, up about 9 percent over 131.9 million last year.
"Our overall quarterly results were very solid, highlighted by the continued impressive loan growth. Our focus of transitioning from investments into loans is contributing to the improved results," said John Jelavich, president and CEO.
