Chile's Escondida January-September Copper Output Up 31.4% on Year to 787,743 Tons
Production at the world's largest copper mine, Escondida, controlled by global diversified mining company BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP, BHP.AU), rose 31.4% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2012 to 787,743 metric tons, the company said Friday.
