MORRISTOWN, NJ, Aug 20, 2012 (Menafn - MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --The Board of Trustees of Bancroft Fund Ltd. (nyse mkt:BCV) todaydeclared the Fund's one hundred sixty-seventh quarterly dividend.

The 12.75 cents (0.1275) per share dividend is payable from netinvestment income on September 27, 2012 to shareholders of recordSeptember 13, 2012.
