Pioneer Investments declares election of trustees for five closed-end funds

Oct 24, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Pioneer Investment Management Inc declared on Tuesday the results of the annual shareholder meetings for closed end investment companies Pioneer Diversified High Income Trust (nyse mkt:HNW), Pioneer Floating Rate Trust PHD, Pioneer High Income Trust (NYSE PHT), Pioneer Municipal High Income Trust MHI and Pioneer Municipal High Income Advantage Trust MAV.

The shareholders of record as of the close of business on 13 July 2012 elected two trustees for each fund, Thomas J Perna and Marguerite A Piret, who will each serve a three-year term.

The joint shareholder meetings were held on 18 September 2012. Regarding Pioneer High Income Trust, the meeting was adjourned until 23 October 2012 to give the fund's preferred shareholders more time to cast their votes.
