BRIEF: El Pasoan to receive 2,500 in free gas from Alon

Nov 08, 2012 (Menafn - El Paso Times - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Alon USA Energy Inc., which has 83 gas stations in El Paso, is giving away gas and other items to customers.

Today, El Pasoan Alfonso Ramirez will receive 2,500 of free gas at the Alon/7-Eleven at 1330 N. Zaragoza.

The giveaways are to celebrate the Dallas-based oil refining company transitioning from Fina to Alon earlier this year.

Fina had operated an oil refinery in Big Spring before Alon purchased it years ago.

By the end of this year, Alon officials expect to give away 10,000 in gas, 2,500 in gas and an iPad to three customers.
