2013 Primetime Emmy Awards date set

LOS ANGELES, Nov 30, 2012 (Menafn - UPI via COMTEX) --The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards for excellence in television will be handed out in Los Angeles Sept. 22, CBS said Friday.

The event is to take place at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE.

Nominations are to be announced July 18 from the Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.

No host has been announced yet. Talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel served as this year's emcee.
