ZTE Helps CMHK Complete TD-LTE/LTE FDD Test

HONG KONG, Nov 07, 2012 (Menafn - SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --ZTE Corporation (szse:000063)(sehk:0763) announced recently that it had finished a redirected TD-LTE/ LTE FDD test for commercial network together with three companies.

The other three companies are China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited (CMHK), Ericsson ERIC and Beijing Innofidei Technology Limited.

The project has become an important milestone for the construction of the first commercial dual-mode TD-LTE/LTE FDD network in Hong Kong and the development of LTE dual-mode technology.

The terminals in the test were provided by Innofidei and its R&D partner-the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI). It is said that the TDD/FDD dual-mode terminals have gone through such mobility tests as redirected test and re-selection test. The tests were all made between the TD-LTE access networks respectively constructed by ZTE and Ericsson and the LTE FDD access network provided by Ericsson, demonstrating the reliable interoperability and excellent user experience of CMHK's dual-mode network.
