Lenovo Sets up Enterprise Product Group

BEIJING, Oct 30, 2012 (Menafn - SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --Lenovo Group Limited (sehk:0992) announced on October 30 that it had set up the Enterprise Product Group.

The new business division will be responsible for the sale of Lenovo-made servers, storage devices, network equipments and software products to enterprises and system integrators.

Lenovo stated that the new business unit would also be in charge of the development of products with IT service provider EMC Corporation EMC. The products and services covered mainly touch upon three major sectors: providing embedded servers for EMC's storage devices, the distribution of EMC products as an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and the joint development of new storage products with the joint venture set up by Lenovo and EMC.

Roy Guillen, former vice president and general manager of the data center solutions division at Dell Inc. DELL, will be the head of the new business unit.
