BRIEF: Power restored to thousands in St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids

Feb 17, 2013 (Menafn - St. Cloud Times - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Power has been restored after an outage Saturday night affected thousands of Xcel Energy customers in St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids.

The power outage started at 8:28 p.m. and affected 3,245 customers, according to Mary Sandok, a spokeswoman for Xcel Energy.

The outage was caused by a down wire, and power was restored at 11:14 p.m. Saturday, she said today.
