Fortunate Sun Mining Adjourns Meeting
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Feb 11, 2013 (Menafn - MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --Fortunate Sun Mining Company Ltd. (Fortunate Sunor the "Company") advises that its Special General Meeting held onFriday, February 8 has been adjourned until a date to be determinedno later than March 8, 2013. The Company will continue to accept lateproxies that were not voted prior to or at the meeting. The Companyurges shareholders to vote in favour of the resolutions put forwardby management. The Company will issue a news release announcing whenthe meeting will reconvene.
Managing Director, Scott Young, states, "Given the current marketconditions and lack of available funding for junior explorationcompanies, it is imperative to consolidate our shares to attract newprojects, management and financing. Without this, Fortunate Sun(along with many other junior exploration companies) may cease toexist over the next 12 months."
