BRIEF: CIA sports club hosting fundraiser

Jan 26, 2013 (Menafn - The Brunswick News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --The CIA Sports Club will hold its annual fundraising banquet Feb. 5 at The Cloister on Sea Island.

The event will feature a silent auction and a speech from guest speaker Hollis Conway, a two-time Olympic medalist. The silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m., with the banquet starting at 7 p.m.

Among the items included in the silent auction will be autographed memorabilia from former Georgia running back Herschel Walker, former Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox, former Braves third baseman Chipper Jones and Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Tickets are 150 for couples and 85 for singles and includes a meal. Dress code for the event is business casual -- collared shirt and sport coat, no tie.
