BRIEF: Macon pizza delivery man robbed at gunpoint

Sep 09, 2012 (Menafn - The Macon Telegraph - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Macon police are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Domino's Pizza, 4437 Columbus Road, according to a news release.

According to the release, the victim, a delivery man, told officers that he walked outside the store to his car to retrieve receipts. As he got in the car, a masked man pointed a handgun at him and demanded what he had. The driver handed over what he had, including his car keys, and the gunman fled on foot toward Mercer University Drive outside the city limits.

As the gunman fled, he misfired his handgun into the ground, but no one was injured.
