Ingleby admits to breaches of his AWB duties in oil-for-food scandal

Jun 13, 2012 (Menafn - The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) --Victorian Supreme Court judge Ross Robson has heard from the respective legal teams of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) and Paul Ingleby. The ex-CFO of grain trading group AWB has struck a compromise deal with ASIC, under which he will be fined A40,000 and incur a ban from holding boards seats of a year and three months for his role in a bribery affair in Iraq. A similar agreement had been negotiated for former CEO Andrew Lindberg with the watchdog. The civil settlements must now be approved by Robson.
