Johnson Matthey 1H Profit Down 6% Due to Lower Precious-Metal Prices
LONDON--Chemicals company Johnson Matthey PLC (JMAT.LN) Wednesday posted a 6% decline in first-half pretax profit, largely due to lower average precious-metal prices, and said that it expects the group's second-half performance to be similar to the first half of the year.
