Hawaiian Holdings posts USD 40.6m of net income in Q3

HA said it has reported third quarter 2012 adjusted net income of USD 40.6 m or USD 0.77 per diluted share, reflecting economic fuel expense, and GAAP net income for the third quarter of 2012 of USD 45.5m, or USD 0.86 per diluted share.

The company posted adjusted net income, reflecting economic fuel expense, up 35.2% year-over-year and a GAAP net income increase of 77.6% year-over-year. Adjusted operating margin of 13.4%, reflecting economic fuel expense, and operating margin of 13.6%

Hawaiian posted an adjusted net income margin of 7.4%, reflecting economic fuel expense, and a net income margin of 8.3%. Operating cost per available seat mile excluding fuel decrease of 6.8%

The company had unrestricted cash and cash equivalents of USD 433.5m.
