Huawei CTO Matt Bross Leaves Office
SHENZHEN, Nov 02, 2012 (Menafn - SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --According to foreign media, Matt Bross, global CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, has left the company.
An industry source indicated that the CTO has joined Juniper Networks, Inc. JNPR.
Matt Bross' departure at this point is entirely understandable since one of his major responsibilities was to act as CTO of Huawei North American branch to help the company establish partnership with local operators.
The point of view was echoed by Matt Bross when interviewing. The CTO explained that although Huawei successfully formed alliance with Clearwire Corporation CLWR, due to the US government's announcement that Huawei devices have safety loopholes, there is little chance for Huawei to achieve breakthrough in US market via the alliance with operators like AT&T Inc. T and Verizon Communications Inc. VZ.
Meanwhile, John Roese, senior vice president and general manager of Huawei North American R&D department, has also left the company and joined EMC Corporation EMC as CTO a few days ago.
