BRIEF: South Charlotte bank robbed
Nov 06, 2012 (Menafn - The Charlotte Observer - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and the FBI are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank branch late Tuesday morning in south Charlotte.
No injuries were reported in the robbery, which happened about 11:15 a.m. at the bank in the 2900 block of South Boulevard. That is near Ideal Way.
The FBI says a man entered the bank and handed a note to a teller, demanding money. Authorities say no weapon was displayed or seen during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing eyeglasses, khaki pants, a brown jacket, and a hat. He was of medium build and height. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 704-334-1600.
