BRIEF: Authorities investigating Dollar General attempted robbery

SANFORD, Nov 27, 2012 (Menafn - The Sanford Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Police are searching for an unknown suspect in connection with a recent attempted robbery.

Dollar General, located at 2461 Hawkins Ave., reported an attempted robbery Friday when a man allegedly entered the store and demanded money, according to a report from the Sanford Police Department.

No weapons were reported, and there were no reported injuries, according to the release.

The suspect is described as a black man with slender build wearing a light blue University of North Carolina hoodie, blue jeans and a blue bandanna over his face.

The case is still under investigation.
