American Airlines waives change fees for US Midwest storm-impacted pax
Dec 20, 2012 (Menafn - AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) --Texas, USA-based American Airlines AAMRQ said it is offering customers flexibility to change their plans due to weather associated with the Midwest blizzard and its potential impact on cities throughout the middle of the United States.
According to the carrier, customers ticketed on American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection flights on Dec. 20 and Dec. 21 to, from, or through a group of Midwestern cities, and whose ticket was issued no later than Dec. 19, may have their ticket reissued without a change fee for one ticket change.
The airports included are Cedar Rapids, Iowa (CID); Chicago (ORD); Des Moines, Iowa (DSM); Dubuque, Iowa (DBQ); Grand Island, Neb. (GRI); Grand Rapids, Mich. (GRR); Green Bay, Wis. (GRB); La Crosse, Wis. (LSE); Madison, Wis. (MSN) and Manhattan, Kan. (MHK).
Also covered are Marquette, Mich. (MQT); Milwaukee, Wis. (MKE); Moline, Ill. (MLI); Omaha, Neb. (OMA); Rochester, Minn. (RST); Sioux City, Iowa (SUX); Traverse City, Mich. (TVC); Waterloo, Iowa (ALO); Wausau, Wis. (CWA); and Wichita, Kan. (ICT)
