Insulet Corporation names Dr. John A. Fallon to board

Oct 26, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Medical device company Insulet Corporation PODD revealed on Thursday the appointment of John A. Fallon, MD, FACPto its board of directors.

The company added Dr. Fallon brings to the board 25 years of experience in health management, with two decades of clinical practice in internal medicine.

Since 2004, Dr. Fallon has served as the chief physician executive and senior vice president at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA), the leading health plan in Massachusetts.

Previously, Dr. Fallon served as chief executive officer of Clinical Affairs at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and has served as a trustee and chairman for Partners Healthcare System's (PHS) Physician Network.
