BRIEF: Two arrested for making meth in Ky.

Jun 30, 2012 (Menafn - Portsmouth Daily Times - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. -- The discovery of a meth lab has resulted in the arrest of two people in Greenup County, Kentucky.

Greenup County Sheriff Keith Cooper said on Wednesday deputies Cody Fuller and Matt Smith responded to Culp Creek Road in Greenup in reference to a theft in progress. Cooper said once deputies were on the scene, they discovered a mobile methamphetamine lab directly outside a vehicle, as well as evidence of the production of the lab inside the vehicle.

Nick Kintgos of Culp Creek and Melissa Gillum of Kentucky State Route 2 in Greenup County were charged with felony manufacturing methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence. Both were booked and lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
