Business full of praise for decision

May 27, 2012 (Menafn - The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) --Business Council of Australia president Tony Shepherd has welcomed the Federal Government's move to endorse an enterprise migration agreement (EMA) for the Roy Hill iron ore project. This will enable mining magnate Gina Rinehart to recruit 1,700 workers offshore. Shepherd argues that this will not take jobs from Australian workers, as the skills shortage means employers must fill vacancies with foreign workers. Woodside Petroleum chairman Michael Chaney also supports the use of EMAs.
