Hernandez leads Manchester United to come-from-behind win

International Sports Desk, Nov 10, 2012 (Menafn - EFE via COMTEX) --Mexico's Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez made the most of his 45 minutes of action Saturday against Aston Villa, playing a role in all three Manchester United goals in a 3-2 victory.

Hernandez took the field in the second half at Villa Park in Birmingham and ignited United's attack, leading his club back from a 2-0 deficit.

His first goal came in the 58th minute when he received a pass from Paul Scholes and fired a shot out the reach of American goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

A shot by Hernandez five minutes later deflected off Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar to tie the game at 2-2 and then Chicharito headed in Robin Van Persie's free kick for the game winner in the 88th minute.

With the win, United stayed on top of the Premier League standings with 27 points, four points clear of Chelsea.

In other Premier League action Saturday, Arsenal and Fulham played to a 3-3 draw, Reading and Norwich City settled for a scoreless draw, Southampton and Swansea City drew 1-1, Stoke City topped Queens Park Rangers 1-0, West Bromwich Albion defeated Wigan Athletic 2-1 and Everton topped Sunderland 2-1.
