BRIEF: FBI searches for robber donning Chicago Bears hat
Nov 25, 2012 (Menafn - Chicago Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --The FBI released a photo of a man who robbed a PNC Bank branch while wearing a Chicago Bears skull cap.
The robbery happened Nov. 19 at a PNC Bank branch located at 1177 Lake-Cook Road in Buffalo Grove, the FBI said. The robbery happened about 4:50 p.m., according to Buffalo Grove police.
The man walked into the bank, approached a teller, and demanded money, but displayed no weapon and also did not imply he had one, police said. He escaped on foot with cash, police said.
The robber was described as a white man about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was wearing a knit Bears hat, glasses, and a striped sweater, authorities said.
The FBI is offering a reward for any information leading up to his capture and conviction.
