EU Duties on Chinese solar products worry German industries


(MENAFN) Xinhua News Agency reported that German industry sector is concerned over EU decision to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese solar products. The German Federation of Industry called both sides to find a "mutually acceptable solution" and they expressed their regrets on EU's decision. EU will impose 11.8% duty from June 6 to August 6, from when on, the duty will be raised to 47.6%. German Chambers of Industry and Commerce says prices will increase which mean investment will be cut down, and less solar panels will be put on the roof. It's worth noting that the bilateral trade now between China and the EU accounts for 30% of total trade.
