Toyota recalls faulty Prius, Lexus vehicles

(MENAFN) Toyota Motor Corporation stated that it recalled about 233,000 Prius vehicles as well as 9000 Lexus HS250h models because of problems with their braking systems, reported Arab News. The automaker explained that brake pressure parts in the cars could crack because of vibration, slowing response times. The problem has not caused any accidents or injuries so far according to Toyota. The company also said that the affected Prius vehicles were produced between March and October 2009 while the Lexus ones were made between June and October of the same year. It is worth noting that the Prius vehicles affected are sold worldwide while the Lexus sedans are sold in the US and Japan.
