Peru team concludes visit to UAE

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A high-level trade delegation of more than 30 government and private sector representatives led by Peruvian Minister of Economy and Finance Luis Miguel Castilla has concluded a visit to the UAE, which aimed to consolidate and increase the position of Peru as the most important destination for UAE investment in South America, alongside Brazil. Peru is one of the world's fastest-growing emerging economies, and the visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi was the first leg of an international road show, which continues this week in Europe before travelling on to Asia, with the goal of promoting greater inward investment from foreign markets. Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, received Castilla. The delegation also met with UAE Central Bank Governor Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, and discussed business and investment potential between the regions, and how to further develop relationships.
