(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Asian woman was arrested recently in possession of 50 narcotic pills and 250 grams of heroin.
According to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, when the Directorate General for Drug Control received a tip-off about an Asian woman involved in drug trafficking, they formed a team for investigations.
After confirming the information and taking necessary legal measures, they rushed to her apartment and arrested her.
They checked the apartment to find the illicit drugs, after which she promptly confessed to the crime.
When the officers checked her status, they discovered that she was deported in 2009 but had re-entered the country using a fake identity.
She was referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against her.
