(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The World Marketing Summit 2013 will be held in Malaysia from the 28th to 30th of September 2013. The theme of this year's summit will feature a lineup of speakers from the corporate, public, NGOs and academia who will speak and present ideas on how marketing solutions can be integrated with affirmative action to tackle socio-economic issues as highlighted by the United Nations under its eight Millennium Development Goals (MDG).
This year's Summit aims to elevate marketing from a corporate tool to a social equaliser discussions will focus on eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, achieving universal primary education, promoting gender equality and empowering women, reducing child mortality, improving maternal health, combating HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, ensuring environmental sustainability, and creating a global partnership for development, said the Summit's chairperson Dr Marceline Lemarie
