(MENAFN) Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co Ltd announced that it has secured a USD796 million UAE contract, reported Arabian Business.
The contract covers establishing oil production facilities in the Upper Zakum oil fields for the Zakum Development Company (ZADCO).
The South Korean shipbuilder added that the contract is slated for completion by 2017's May.
It is worth noting that Daewoo won the contract in a consortium with Petrofac Emirates.
