Kuwait- KD 30,000 revenue stamps theft


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police are looking for unidentified people who are said to have removed worth KD 30,000 revenue stamps from old documents from the basement archive of the General Administration of Citizen's Service headquarters in Yarmouk, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to reliable sources some administration officials looked reluctant to report the incident to the authorities and one of them even pointed a finger of accusation at the Asian workers. The same sources said there are rumors that one of the officials in the administration is involved in recycling the stamps and shares the money with some Asian workers who do the spade work and sell the stamps at half the original value.
